  Applewood Baptist church is a church you'd want to call your own! Pastor Calvin is an awesome man of God and knows the Bible very well. The congregation is very loving and good hearted! There is nothing I dislike about this church. If you wanna feel the real presence of God In a church, then I highly advise you to attend a service at Applewood Baptist Church!

  We have recently moved to the area from up north where we were attending a expository church and were interested in something along the same lines. We tried a couple other churches in the area and by far Applewood is heads above what is around here. We are pretty close to Applewood, but tried a couple other churches just to make sure we weren't attending Applewood out of mere convenience. I think the choice is clear and the Lord is guiding us to this church to make it our home church. The preaching is excellent. The people are warm and inviting. My son likes the nursery as well. I look forward to what the Lord has for us here. If you are looking for solid biblical teaching and not just fluff or entertainment I highly recommend this church!

  Very poor church and shocked and very hurt in how I've been treated. The arrogant, prideful Assistant Pastor likes spreading evil lies and false accusations about other people. He's a wolf in sheeps clothing among others that like to be in packs.Your falsely judged.Definitely do not recommend coming here. Terrible experience. Some people are sometimes not what they apear to be. They turn on you when you need them and Jesus most.There are plenty of other good churches to go to. Not this place. Sad.....

  I love Applewood Baptist! There are different areas for all ages of children and the people that watch and care for the children are simply amazing. Pastor Calvin is the best and speaks with such passion and knowledge. Never have I felt so comfortable and welcomed as I have at Applewood. Everyone is so kind and caring as well. I feel this church has helped me grow as a Christian and helped me learn more about the Bible than I have at any other church.

  What a wonderful church! Genuine people, genuine pastor, lots of good solid biblical teaching. I am so glad to have found such a great place to call my church home!
